Re: LA Roadster show
Found a nice steering wheel for my '40 1 1/2 ton. Decided to think about it and when I decided to pull the pin I couldn't remember where I saw it. Moral, if you see something you want either buy it on the spot or at least write down the space number. It was a nice wheel with the horn button and worth the asking price. Bad decision on my part.

I found a little bit of junk...
I always enjoy that swapmeet, although I spent more time selling than out shopping this year... Neal |

Re: LA Roadster show
An unspoken rule for the L A Roadster swap meet. If you see it, and want it; BUY it !
I got bitten by not obaying the rule. There were a couple of guys that were selling restored and nos '32 items. Really wonderful stuff. They had 2- K-members. One early and one late models. The price was a bit higher than I wanted to spend. Now mind you; I spend a great deal of money, time, and effort just to get to LA. After sleeping on the price, I bunned it back to their swap space early Sunday morning, just to find that they gone home. You snooze- ya loose. dummy/dummy/dummy |
