Needing an inspection/appraisal for '39 Panel Truck
I am looking to purchase a 1939 Ford Panel Truck from a gentleman in Denver CO. Before I buy, I need to find someone with knowledge of ford trucks/panels to do a thorough inspection of the body, frame, wiring, brakes and drivetrain and report back their findings, along with any relevant pictures. If you have intimate knowledge of panel trucks and are located in the Denver area please reply to this post or direct message me as soon as possible. I am willing to pay a flat fee plus travel expenses. Unfortunately I have kept the seller waiting and would like to wrap up the deal as soon as possible.

I cannot help you if you are in a hurry. I own a 39 panel delivery that I have taken apart and am now reassembling. I will be in Denver, but not until about the second to third week of June. If you still need someone to look at it by then, pm me and I will try to help.

Oldandtired,
Thanks for the offer. I know the seller wants to get the deal done quickly, but I might take you up on your offer if I can't find someone else in the next few days. |

Re: Needing an inspection/appraisal for '39 Panel Truck
Thanks for the reply. I did contact the local V8 Ford Club and the gentlemen I contacted sent out an email, but so far nothing. They are having a meeting this week, so I am hoping that someone will come forward. It is a really great panel, but this is my first 'old' car and I want to make sure I know what I am getting myself into!
