Jules, I built many Hercules back in the 60-70-80's. They had many Models, qx, jx, ixb, ect. They were in all kinds of industrial eqipment. I built a big one for an antique Cristcraft a few yr's ago. The owner had an address for someone on the middle of the country that had all kinds of Hercules parts. I wish I could remember who it was. I think if you google in Hercules engines you'll comeup with someplaces to call. Walt

Are you referring to the Hercules Motor Car Co. of New Albany , Indiana which built about 100 cars in 1914-1915? The assets were sold to the kentucky Wagon Works in 1915-that company introduced a car called the Dixie Flyer. OR, are you referring to the Hercules Engine Company which made industrial engines?

I used to have a HERCULES radiator and shell, off an old stationary engine. I traded it off for some Pepper Jelly.
Actually, I gave it to a friend, who was building his own custom "antique" truck. He gave me a whole "mess" of Peper Jelly, in return.

Are you refering to the custom / phantom body maker making woody bodies with Ford cowls over the last 10 years or so? Ithink they were possibly out of the Florida area.
