Default Finding a Plater

Hi,

Has anyone found a plater in Ohio. I'm looking for someone who can do cad plating and is within a day's drive round trip. I am in SE Ohio, so this could be Pittsburgh, Columbus, Dayton, Cleveland or going South as far as
Charleston, WV. Anywhere within a 200 mile range will work for me.

I'm uncomfortable sending off parts to an unknown plater and would like to go see for myself. Especially see examples of work.

I believe cad plating is becoming more rare because of environmental concerns, but hopefully someone out there has the proper license to do it.

All advice appreciated.

Regards,

Martin Mindling [email protected]

I've checked out the plater list and find it disappointing that none of the cadmium platers are near the east coast meaning I would have to ship ($$$) a heavy box far to get my cadmium done.......

If they do, is it real cadmium or zinc which some platers now call cadmium?

Thanks, I've never used them and had the name wrong. My friend used them for his 29 Stutz parts and they did nice work.
