Default v8 60......help

I was helping a friend start his 37 ford with a stock v8 60 last night and need some info from you guys because I have never worked on one!

His fuel pump is leaking.....were can he buy a rebuild kit or a new one? Are they the same as the larger motor? It looks different?

His wires are 60 years old and shot! Are they the same as the larger (colors) motor just shorter? If not were can he buy them?

It had champion h-11 and h-10 plugs in it? What are the correct plugs?

Thanks in advace

The fuel pump is the same,it looks different because it is oriented or assembled different cap to body, don't let anyone sell him a more expensive "just for 60 hp and rare fuel pump". I have had fuel pumps rebuilt with supposedly ethanol proof diapraghms only to fail after a season or two, have had one from Napa an Airtex/Carter last couple years now,new made in the USA,any of the ones for Ford V8 before 1949 should work, may not be correct with glass bowl, but will work. Plugs were 14mm for 60 hp and H-10 would actually be what was original equipment. The Early Ford V8 Club restoration book list the shorter spark plug cabl lengths and colors, distributor is same as 85 hp.

Championg H-10 plugs were original. They were the blue or black color. The local auto store had HC-10 for a couple of dollars each. The C means chrome or cadmium.

The water pump kits are the same for both styles of 60hp pumps (straight body or tapered body). We stock the kits.
