Default 35 coupe roof bows

Does anybody for sure what kind of bolts & washers were originaly used to attach wood bows to body --hex/ truss head /pan head were they drilled w/lock wire ect---- i have the end clips---by the way just got my bows from fordwood art in manteca ca & they fit nice----thanks dave

I just replaced the headliner in my 35 car and not the bows, so I did not looked that close, but I'm pretty sure they were held in place by hex bolts with lock washers. A 34 that I did replace the bows had the "U" shape clip, hex bolt with lock washer.

I snapped this picture last summer when I was disassembling my 1935 3W. The lockwasher is the type that has the serrated star in the middle.
