This weekend I will try to get the following tasks completed: Re wire tail light buckets; Change oil; drain coolant and replace four hoses; lube chassis and suspension. In the next few weeks: install reconditoned aluminum intake, new fuel pump and Stromberg 97 Carburetor. Will be 50 degrees F on Sunday. TM

Finish my wife's bathroom cabinets, counter top and flooring, turn up the heat in the garage, change out the gas tank on the pickup, complete the install on the heater in the 39 Fordor and sit down and have a couple brews. Then.........

After I go blow the snow off the driveway..Take off the electric pump and put the mech. set up back to original..All the parts came yesterday...I may still leave a elec. pump ,but I'll make sure it's a "quiet one" and will flow through...Then put a switch under the dash for it if I need it....The guy I got the car from Attacked the "Non Vented Gas Cap Problem" with a giant,noisy,electic pump....Then set the reg to 1/2 lbs...I still don't know why it didn't suck the tank into a "Crushed Beer Can " ...

Picking up some F-1 brakes today....gonna clean, paint, replace internals, and set them up on my '39 spindles. I'm also planning on getting back to that window issue I posted about a few weeks ago. I put it aside to work on some other things...hoped it would fix itself, but no dice.

a buddy was here today, 60 degree weather and pestered me to get the 41 fire engine up and running, maybe after plowing the garden, running the tiller thru it several times, putting down lime, mulch, till again---on second thought the truck is calling me--bye for now!!

Finish polishing the roof and dash, running all the rear brake lines, order parts and sit by the fire ripping into the speedometer head.

Going to work on the car tomorrow. Get the horn rod back in, hook up the rest of the wire harness for the coil, starter part. Yank the rest of the lights harness out. Replace radiator hoses. Then I am going to pull the headlight buckets so I can work on them at home. Oh and pull the fuel gauge to look into redoing it and pull the brake handle to get replated....swap rear bumper for nicer one I picked up.

Hot wire / started 32 2dr on gas jug---next line fuel tank & reinstall ,then replace wiring.
Go to Norman,OK swap Mar/14,15,16--if SS check holds out--Go SOONERS!
Then to 40s in barn. Hoping my buds and me can get Van Norman V grinder to turn out
reground orig valves for several flathds prewar 221,239s, 59,255.
Money doesn't cover all them, so we try to step out & up with our work. That's up next. Ain't this fun! We're lucky guys all!!

Put new rings in the 36 woodie, new dash cover and dash pads for the 63 corvette convertible, finish up the last 5% of a 29 roadster restoration, pull the mitchell OD from the 28 open cab pickup. Seems I've been a car mechanic since retiring 3 years ago.

Going to install the tail light cross over harness and the body harness and maybe new stoplight switch--rewire all the way to the dash harness junction (will finish dash rewire once the new intake set up is installed). Install Fuel guage wire too. Re install fuel tank because the fuel filler neck is not lining up correct. And if time permits, install rear axle frame bumpers. Gonna be 58F today. TM
