Lesters have always been good. I think the tire dealer on the East Coast (I forget their name) sells these.

I have used Coker many times. I feel their customer care is first rate. I had a problem with a set of Firestones, and they covered them completely. I'll continue to use Coker.

Re: Need some 6.00 x 16 tires, any suggestions other than coker
I've used Coker with mixed results, with both bias ply and radials... The Coker Firestone 600x16 in bias ply were problematic (excessive wear in a short time) however, the Coker B.F. Goodrich 700x16's have been excellent. The Coker Classic 600x16 radials are also excellent but a set of Coker Classic 15" radials literally came apart (tread separated) on three of the four tires...

If you are interested in radials, I have been running Diamondback (Yokohama brand) 195/80R16 (600-16 equivalent) for close to 2 years/5000 miles without any problems and a great ride. Steve

Re: Need some 6.00 x 16 tires, any suggestions other than coker
I also have mixed reviews on Coker. Similar bias ply tires that some WW turned brown, while the other was OK...no help from them here....on radials, in the past, tires totally deformed to the point of not being able to drive the car at all....stranded and 150 miles away from home....had to buy a temp replacement tire to continue....only to have the tire on the other side of the car do the same....10 minutes after getting back on the road....back to the tire shop for another tire change. It cost me a pile of trouble....not easy to change tires on wire wheels...and the extra cost to do this. My entire day was ruined....I arrived at the car show at 4:00 and left at 6:00....Great. When I returned them back to Coker...they charged me the 5% wear....and that....was totally maddening...if not downright insulting...especially the cost and time lost I had with this problem. I have heard such good thing on DiamondBack, that the Coker radials are on my taboo list. my 2 cents....Robert

So, if running radials on 16" wires, do you need tubes?

Re: Need some 6.00 x 16 tires, any suggestions other than coker
I put 15" Rims on my 40 PU & drove 19 years on Goodyear radials & the truck handled better than it did with Bias Ply. But, when I restored my 36 Cabriolet knowing of less performance & lower wear mileage I went with Cokers 600 x 16 Firestone Bias Ply with the "pie crust" design & wide WW just because the Car would show best (in my opinion) I have had no problem so far - installed them 09/2011 but then I haven put 1,000 miles on yet. I hope the WWs dont turn Brown--OK so far

Re: Need some 6.00 x 16 tires, any suggestions other than coker
We just had a long discussion about Koker tires a few weeks ago. I literally wore the outsides of the treads on the outer edges of my Koker tires. If you looked at them you would have said they were very under inflated, but I keep my pressure at the recommended 35psi. When I showed pictures of the tires to the Koker people at Hershey I was told that "Koker tires are for show cars and not drivers". Several others loved in and were told the same thing. Go with Diamondbacks or Universal.

There are modern radial tires available from Sears. Such as a Cooper, Goodyear, or B F Goodrich.
