Raised-letter Zenith Carb
At the fun GWC Model A CLub's repair day yesterday we had 2 raised-letter carb bottoms. Woody Williams' had crips lettering. Mine had sloppy lettering and generally a sloppy casting. It was made of cast iron. The bowl vent hole was much smaller than Woody's. The intake rim was not crip in casting either. What have it got?

Re: Raised-letter Zenith Carb
Look at the new judging standards , it has some very good info on just what you are asking about. Some castings just were not made that good.

Re: Raised-letter Zenith Carb
Is your raised-letter Zenith written Zenith, Zenith-1, or Zenith-2? Were the bowls for the single or double venturi?

Re: Raised-letter Zenith Carb
I believe this would be for a late 1929 Model A.
