I need five or ten of theses special hex head cap screws thread is 5/16 18 pitch. they have a shoulder just below the hex head that is a few thou larger than the thread o.d. Does anyone know where to get these. The larger shoulder dia is for alingment for DISTRIBUTOR CONCENTRICITY ! . Thanks Stan White

Try looking at pressure plate bolts, they have a shoulder too

Pressure plate bolts have a longer shoulder and a shorter thread than the distributor bolts. In a pinch you might use a longer bolt that has a short non threaded shank and cut the thread down. I'm not sure if the proper distributor bolts have a larger shank than normal (5/16").
I don't think it is that critical to a few thou.

Aren't these the same as the shouldered bolts also used for the transmission top?

Either way, Third Gen carries both. One plated, others black

Yes, The transmission top bolts are the same as the front cover bolts.
