What style are you wanting, the Bendix or the Lockheed? Then original or reproduction? Or are you looking for original mechanical brakes?

Re: 35-36 truck 3/4 ton brakes
You must have a 1 1/2 ton. Or maybe a 1/2 ton converted to dual wheels. Great big lugs, 20" wheels with 5 on 8" lug pattern or car/pickup hubs with 5 on 5 1/2? The one ton didn't appear until '38 and I think the 3/4 ton right after. The tonner has 5 lugs on 6 7/8", but no dually wheels were available AFAIK. Pictures?

It is a 1936 Ford 1.5 ton. If the shoes are good, many big truck shops can reline them for you. I have also seen linings on eBay. On the other hand, considering the load you are carrying, you may want to consider a conversion to hydraulic.

Re: 35-36 truck 3/4 ton brakes
I have never seen kits to convert big trucks to juice brakes, but from the looks of things it shouldn't be too hard to use brake parts from a '39 or newer to do a conversion. Last winter I completely went through a '47 two ton and have it set up for hauling heavy loads. I sold my '37 1 1/2 ton when I was finished with the '47. Not sure if that was easier than converting the '37 to juice brakes, but I got a booster and a 2 speed eaton rear at the same time. That's a beautiful truck you are working on. Is it yours?

Re: 35-36 truck 3/4 ton brakes
No its a friend of mine he sells crapes out of it at all the festivals here in New Orleans. Do yall know anywhere I can get brakes already lined for the truck . he uses it on a daily basis. and doesn't want any down time for taking the brakes off to have them relined.

Try All Ford Parts, 800-532-1932, allfordparts.com. I don't see any big truck shoes with linings in their online catalogue, but it is worth checking with them, as they are better than most for big truck parts.
