Hello
Hi everybody, I just registered and I guess the proper thing to do is introduce myself. I'm an old fart and have been into cars all my life. I have had a few Fords in my time from 48 up. When I got my drivers license in "68 I had a 60 Fairlane. I now have a 56 Fairlane Town Sedan. On the HAMB my user name is Copper Top, guess I should have used it here too.

Re: Hello
Hey, welcome to the Barn! Nice to see another '56 Ford owner here. I also got my license in '68 and well - I had a '56 Ford back then, in fact I still have it. . I hate change! But like my Vicky. Ron

Re: Hello
Hello CopperTop. There are lots of '55 and '56 Ford owners here. I gave $525 for my '55 in 1972. My first car and still driving it daily.
I browsed the HAMB one time. It seems like folks there are more into modernizing and modifying their jalopies. Mine is still all original. I am also a member of FORDSIX.com. There are a lot of folks there who mess around with the old 215 and 223 "mileagemakers". |

Re: Hello
Well I got my license in 52 and first motor builds were the flatty then the Y block and on up the ladder of progress. Owned about every thing Ford built and a couple of turd GM products that I couldn't afford to drive. Guess that why I still have fords.
