A nice and correct late 1913/1914 Model T engine and transmission assembly. Includes a nice and clean short block with engine number 353969 and casting date 10-4-13. The short block looks very clean. It rotates freely, the bearing feel OK, there is no apparent damage in the bores. Someone put a fiber timing gear in it a some point. It looks like there is an old cast iron welding repair to the left front water jacker (in the usual spot!). The cast iron pistons are not marked on the top, so I assume it is standard bore. It has the early style freeze plugs. Also included is a really nice three rivet, "t-cup" long nose pan that is really clean with no damage. There is also a nice aluminum transmission cover with no damage and three very good original C-R-B pedals that show little wear. I do have the internal transmission mageneto components. The field coil assembly looks good but some of the tranmission drums, gear, etc are not great. I have a cast iron intake and exhaust manifold, water inlet, etc. There is no head or front timing cover. I am asking 850.00 for everything. Please email directly for more photos or information. 734-730-4274 or [email protected] Last edited by gz; 11-14-2011 at 07:05 PM. |
