Re: Sad News...AV8Paul
Its funny how you can feel a kinship with someone you never had the pleasure of meeting. He wll be sorely missed on the 'Barn. We can all take this as a call to drive our old Fords more and procrastinate less. May God be with him and his family.

Re: Sad News...AV8Paul
I'm so sorry for Paul's family.....I saw his car at the GNRS this year, but didn't hook up with him. I'd hoped to run into him at the Pavillions' car show in Scottsdale before he headed back east. I'll really miss his posts.

Re: Sad News...AV8Paul
Like a lot of folks on here lately I've been reflecting on my relationship with my car pal Paul Howard AKA AV8Paul. Tonight I was looking at some photos and video of our time spent together during Speed Week in 2008 and thought I'd share this video I took while riding in Paul's roadster on the salt. At the time the ride meant alot as Paul had been promising me for years that he'd take me for a topless ride. The memory means even more than words can describe now.
Thanks for the memories Paul. I'm sure gonna miss you. [/URL]

Re: Sad News...AV8Paul
Certainly a great loss to his family including the Barn. I think such notificaton of the passing of one of our family belongs on this net. Surely we get enormous help about springs, carbs and how our iron is supposed to be, but 1000 times over we get help in our heads. We can ask anything about our cars, (And not only eV-8 as well,) and folks can't wait to help us. So many times I'm stuck and with a short note I get so much support. Someone has been there before us and is willing to share the results. A plea for hep from an FNG always brings us out. I hope all know how good I feel after someone helps me with my peeekup challenges. Now with Paul fixin HIS ride, we need to share what one family member meant to several of us. Actually don't ever forget to thank someone from the Barn for their help while they are still here to know they done good for you.

Re: Sad News...AV8Paul
Sure is a great loss. I never met Paul but won't ever forget his photo report of the trip to Bonneville and back. This is a classic and if someone has it please post it again. His posts were always informative and I've saved many. Condolences to his family. He will be missed.

Re: Sad News...AV8Paul
Althought I did not know Paul, it's always sad to hear of a fellow Fordbarn Member and Flathead enthusiast leave us. I took the opportunity though to look up his profile and enjoyed the photo's he shared there, of other favorite things he like to do, and pictures of his grandkids, Colin, and newest grandson of the family Frankie IV. I also saw that Paul had a link which entailed an article of his bio and let you know a little bit about who Paul was, take the time, worth the read. Cut and paste the link below:
