Default Stuck Exhasut Valve Guide Advice-59A

I have a 59A Motor which had been setting about 3 years. a number of valves on the passenger side were stuck. Most of them have responded to removal with my KR Wilson tool and I'm cleaning up the valve seats with a Neway cutter. One exhaust valve guide-one of the 2 centered in the block appears hopelessly stuck. After soaking etc it refuses to come out thru the top. I've cut the stem off at the bottom and have access from the top. Can I force that exhaust guide down into the oil galley? I've see comments saying yes and no. The pickle fork clip has been removed. I hate to "beat" on stuff with a big hammer but it seems my only alternative. Thanks for any advice and Merry Christmas to all.

You should be able to knock it down as long as everything has been removed. It might be necessary to make sure that cam follower is not up on the cam.
