It's not leaking oil, it's sweating horsepower.

There is one made for the Model A, don't know about one for the V8.

When I used to work on airplanes, we always had big trays under the old round motors. If they didn't seep, there was likely not enough oil in there. All my older Harleys mark their spot too.

Up here they are required on drag race cars. They are big. Maybe 1' X 2'. Helps keep the track from getting an oil slick.

Pig Matt and wire ties might work. Sold at Napa and other part stores? Mine I just put cardboard under it.

Yep, a large cardboard appliance box will give enough drip pad material to last for a long time and then just throw away.

i thought for the longest time i had messed up everything I worked on on my 42. I was researching leaks on old Fords when I found out, "if it dont leak, there's not enough oil in it".

I had a guy at a red light yell out the widow that my car was leaking antifreeze, I yelled back, "it's supposed to!" .

Pep Boys still carry the oil drip pans. They are now plastic rather than the old medal ones.

You think a 59A type leaks oil?? Both of my Lincoln HV12s leak each time I bring
them back in to the garage. I use "pastboard "Depends" . Merc51-CT ues the same thing.
Cut to fit under the engine and trans. When "spotted" real bad , place out in trash on
recyle day
