I know the SLANT WINDOW windshield differs from other 1931 closed car windshields, but have never had one. Driver rebuild question: could a "normal" closed car windshield be modified to fit? Any side by side comparison photos would be great. I know a quality reproduction Slant Window Windshield is made, but if I can make a common normal windshield work I may go that route, Thanks for your help. Bob

This is the difference between the straight & slant car windshields:

The slide bracket on each side is made differently and positioned differently on the windshield frame also.
Can be done but not an easy task

Thanks Bob, that one inch difference should stand out in a stack of windshields at Hershey.
