brake light switch
added a new taillight harness over the winter and removed the old switch with harness and replaced it with a new switch. The problem that I have now is the brake light stays on and I have narrowed the problem down to the possible position of the switch itself. Does the switch have to be slightly canted so that the brake pedal assembly pushes in the plunger a little more. This is on a 1935.

JJOHN ....................
Clean up your old original switch and do away with your reproduction switch. See if that solves your problem. MIKE |
