New Member needing some help
Hello,
I am in the process of selling my 1928 Ford Model A Phaeton and am looking for some help on pricing. My father and I bought it back in the mid seventies and performed a partial restoration. It was running up until around the mid 80's and was properly mothballed at that time and has been in storage since. It would likely require a full restoration. The engine had been rebuilt at that time. A partial description: very little body rust, missing the front door sills but all other body parts complete, upholstery torn in places and in need of redo, all body parts complete including top mechanism (no canvass), all bright parts re-chromed at one time but in need of re-chroming, exterior paint in fair condition in original dark blue with black fenders. Overall mechanically sound, fairly rust free, but in need of full cosmetic restoration. Any advice or interest would be greatly appreciated. The car is presently garaged in New Orleans and I have photos I could post or send to interested individuals. Thanks very much for any help, Rogers Schupp |
