Default 1931 SLANT Window BLIND BACK on eBay

eBay number 331418320201 I have no connection to the eBay auction, but I'd buy it if it was a few hours away. Someone needs to save this. Bob

it is really 1/2 170B or C? It is a restoration project that will be extremely difficult...

It is a 160C slant.

You will notice the steel structure with only wood where they needed a nailing surface.
The doors are all steel.
The interior door handles.
The dove tails are welded into the door posts.
Metal sills, type of floor pans.

This is without a doubt a slant window body.

If it is Hot Rodded it is because a restorer can't figure out how to remove the back from a standard Slant Window body and replace it with this one. Bob

The repair looks to be much simpler.

You just need a slant window cowl. The top is fully forward to where it meets the cowl, in fact the side posts and cross piece are still attached.

The issues are the rust around the bottom, the missing sill sections, and even larger would be the missing interior pieces. Finding the correct seating would be difficult.

Yes, for a fraction of a second it held my fancy.
My father had a very nice 160C which was supposed to be mine and one day he sold it. I have always wanted one and might even consider some kind of trade for my 68C for a complete and running one as the fordor is more compatible to a family.

I saw a finished one at Rhinebeck this spring. Had a radiator covered with MARC MAFCA pins it was outstanding, it is a very nice body style. Bob
