Re: Pictures of 35 Coupe
Try this; mount white walls on one side, and black walls on the other, drive the car to a place where you can see the reflection of each side in store windows as you cruise by, that'll give you the best way to decide...

Re: Pictures of 35 Coupe
Here is a rear view of a '36 coupe (looks about the same as a '35 from this view). It has same size front and rear radial tires with spyder hubcaps.

Re: Pictures of 35 Coupe
If you have the skills, go over to the H.A.M.B. There are guys over there making sedans into coupes all of the time. Some of them come up with amazingly original looking cars, while others come up with "phantoms", cars that vary a bit from stock. I have seen "phantoms" that I like as well as the "real" cars.

Re: Pictures of 35 Coupe
I have seen them on the hamb. The 34 that the one guy is doing is nice. I would rather find a 35 coupe body. I know where one is. It's missing doors and trunk lid. And for what he wants for it. You could buy a whole car.

Wide white gets my vote.I painted my wheels the same color as the pinstripes. Dark red/ maroon. My opinion.

Re: Pictures of 35 Coupe
I am a white wall nut! I even put wide whites on a replica 356 Porsche Speedster I once had. Looked great! Every old vehicle I have has white walls, even my `51 F1.
Anyway I just had to post this picture I found. Thats my grandson helping his granddad clean white walls. He leaves for college in a few weeks. They grow up too quick...

Re: Pictures of 35 Coupe
As you consider your options - just have in mind how the starkness of blackwalls can appeal to your senses as well

Re: Pictures of 35 Coupe
Peter C...YOUR coupe is the epitome of what can result as a finished package after careful consideration of body color, stance, wheel type, tire size and tire color. THAT coupe is "nasty", and that's meant as a GOOD nasty! You nailed it!! DD
