'29 C cab truck?
I was surfing the AA board for the first time and saw a reference to a '29 C cab truck. I have a '25 TT C cab and didn't know there was an AA version. Who was the body builder and does anyone have a picture? thanks in advance!!!!!!!!!

Here is a 31 Delivery. Don't know anything about it or who made them. Good luck!

Re: '29 C cab truck?
I don't think Ford themselves produced any C-cab A's or AA's... it does not show-up in the listing of factory-produced truck bodies.
Now, they did sell Cowl & Chassis versions, that a customer could then send to a body-maker of their choice for whatever body they desired... SC Frank |

Re: '29 C cab truck?
Craig's picture looks like the UPS bodied truck and I believe it is A not AA.
Ford didn't make c cabs for model A, as stated above cowl forward chassis could be bought for 'body by others' |

From what I', learning about them, the '28-'29 AA trucks are pretty closely related to their TT ancestors... the 1930-'31 AA's are really the all-new Ford truck of the A-era... |

Re: '29 C cab truck?
I have always liked the c-cab bodies, here is a pic I saved (owner unknown) the bodies were made by independent company's, I guess they are for quick delivery with ease of access.
The only real left over from the model TT was the worm axle, but with many updates such as a wider ring gear, bearings, and larger axle shafts. |

Re: '29 C cab truck?
Here are some more pictures of C-Cab Model As. The black one is a UPS truck. The others are more of the 1931 C-cab. It is my dream to someday build one of these. They are very cool looking. Here is a link to the UPS truck after restoration: http://www.azcarsandtrucks.com/1931fordacab.html
