Re: Moisture problem..??
If the ignition system is in good condition, moisture should not bother its performance. I suspect one or more of the plastic parts in your secondary ignition is absorbing moisture.

Re: Moisture problem..??
MISS TILLIE IS RUNNING LIKE THE CHARMER SHE REALLY IS. FOR SOME REASON HOWEVER, SHE OBVIOUSLY DIDN'T WANT TO GO AFTER THAT TROPHY TODAY, BUT SHE'S BACK "ON THE ROAD AGAIN".
The problem was a short in the distributor. After talking to Mitch on the phone yesterday and troubleshooting some things, I got an old buddy of mine from about 30 miles away. He came over today and after tearing into the distributor, he found a slight short which obviously caused the problem. He also cleaned and adjusted the carb thoroughly and tore the dist completely apart. Bottom, thank goodness, she's running like a top. THANKS TO ALL WHO HAVE RESPONDED TO MY DISTRESS CALL, I couldn't mean that more. |
