Default Ford pickup rims

I need some plain painted steel rims for my half ton pickup. They need to be 15" by at least 7" wide. Is there such a thing?

Thanks,
Norm

Ford Pickup from '66 to '96 has the same 5.5 bolt pattern and
the regular steel wheels will take the same 10 1/8" hubcap as
your '66 pickup. Many of the late '80's and '90's Ford Pickups and
Vans had 6.5" wide steel wheel.

The '66 and earlier F-100's used the same hub cap mounting as the '40-48 cars, and '40-66 Lt 1/2 tons.. All '67 and later F-100's use the external hub cap knobs, early hub caps will not attach to the '67 and later wheels. The F-150's and many of the Ford vans had wide wheels, 5 on 5.5 bolts, however, the hub cap mounting will not work with the early hub caps.. Been there, done that....

hi Bill, I beg to differ, I worked for Ford from 1963 to 1969.

The 1965 1/2 ton Ford pickup used the INNIE hubcap nubs,
same as the '40 to '48 Cars and pickups.

The 1966 `1/2 ton Ford pickup used the OUTER hubcap nubs,
same as the newer pickups.

Here is a post, I'm listing below, that was posted on 'Ford Truck Enthusiasts'
a couple years ago, by a Ford Parts Manager, and it co-insides with what I
believe to be fact about '65 and '66 Ford 1/2 ton pickup wheels and hubcaps.
I installed enough of them back in the day when they were new, working for Ford.

================================================== =======

As original:

1961/65 F100's came with 'INNIE' wheels. The 9 1/2" innie stainless steel only bottlecap hubcap (has 12: /_\ around the outer perimeter) has been reproduced = C3TZ1130A

1966 F100's came with 'OUTIE' wheels. The 10 1/4" outie hubcaps are not reproduced. The stainless steel version is the same as 1964 Galaxie: C4AZ1130A. There are TWO different versions of this painted cap...white and argent.

1966 F100 10 1/4" outie hubcaps (painted/stainless) have a raised embossed slash thru the center with FORD above/below in a 1/2 moon crescent pattern. There is NO SUCH THING as a 9 1/2" version of these outie hubcaps.

These two hubcaps are pictured in the 1964/72 Ford Truck Parts Catalog in TEXT, SECTION 12, Page 1. Type 1 (innie) & type 2 (outie).

Since wheels get swapped around, who knows what wheels are on what year F100 today?

In 1966, FoMoCo offered full WHEEL COVERS as an option for F100 2WD & 4WD's. The same covers were standard equipment on 1966/77 Bronco's. Shown as type 5 in above reference.
