Default Canada made flat head v-8 cylinder heads

I have found NOS aluminum heads for an early v-8 ford. The only identification is the script ford marking and below it “MADE IN CANADA”. Since it has no numbers on it, the year or years that these heads would be appropriate for is a mystery. Does any have any thoughts relative to these heads?

Thanks for your prompt reply. I will look carefully at my heads to see if they have any numbers. I noticed in one of the photos you sent had H&H on it. Did they make that head? If so are heads available from them? I called them regarding aluminum heads for my 35 and and they tried to sell me a head with fins on it and the sharp name. Since my objective is have a high quality restoration that would hopefully match Dearborn standards these heads were unacceptable to me.

They say the Canadian engines/heads were as good.

Easy to figure out what you have if you give us some relevant details.
Number of head studs water outlet location. Recess for dome pistons or flat for flat tops.

I assuming you're thinking the stamped lettering in the top-center of the one head is "H&H". I believe that's actually "N 5 N".

H&H apparently owns the patterns for the former Kearney reproduction heads, although I don't believe H&H has ever produced heads from them while under its ownership. Those also weren't available lettered as "Made in Canada" heads, IIRC.
