Default 49 Ford Flathead v 8 8BA

Will a 1950 Ford trunk lid, handle, and locking mechanism, fit a 1949 Ford trunk?

It might, I had a very early ‘50 and it had a lot of ‘49 parts on it, I was the 3rd owner.

These are a few changes, there may be more.
Each year had difference holes for the handle
The prop is a rod in a slot in '49 and '50 has a telescoping channel with a rachet stop at the top. The latch mechanism changed in late '50.
'51 has more differences, especially the hinges.
