Default O/T Elderly lady driving One Cyl Olds coast to coast

You might be interested in this journey - especially those driving out to Tahoe.

It's a story of courage, determination and perseverance and happening right now.

A friend of mine, Ray Carr is in the Ginnese book of records 3 times.
1- 1901?? Northern 1 cylinder from coast to coast.
2- 1920 ?? Baker electric, coast to coast First product electric to make the trip.
3- Stanley Steamer, coast to coast.

Also went from Peking to London in a 39 Ford and around the world
in the same car. He sold most of these cars last year at Hershey.
I'm sure the "little old lady" will have fun with lots of help. G.M.

Yesterday she was in Port Allen La. Looks like about 2/3 of the way done.

Some of her blog entries about being on the road with other fast-moving traffic are scary. Also there is no windshield or other protection from the wind. Stout lady.

Only repairs needed on the whole trip so far was a broken fender brace.

She does have a good support crew.
