Default NEED Correct 1948 Plug Wires

OK-- Tried to enter once, seems like it did not work. I am NEW to this forum, but a long time AACA forum user. So here goes again.
I have a 48 V8 that I need to find an absolute correct plug wire set for a high point restoration.

The NEW set I have is BROWN (correct) but is cracking and brittle causing shorts inside the cap. I do not want another set from this supplier, does anyone know who has a good quality set?

OR shall I buy wire and make my own? If so, who has the correct wire and ends?

Thanks!
Rod

Try Tyree Harris. Can't put my finger on his number right off. I hope someone will jump in with his number and help this fellow out.
