Default Pictures turning Upside Down

What causes the pictures to flip upside down when I post them? They seem ok until the final post. They work fine everywhere else I use them.

Interesting… If you open your thumbnails, then double click on the enlarged picture they appear in the correct position.
I've been told if you're using an apple phone , hold it with the volume buttons up. I don't take enough pictures to verify that.

Are you making new flatheads?

This is pretty strange. I downloaded those pictures into my Tablet files and they turned themselves right side up as they downloaded. Then I went to the Test Forum and downloaded them on a test post and they turned themselves upside down again.

I went into my Tablet picture files and turned them all upside down. Then went back to the test forum and downloaded them into another test post and they stayed upsidedown.

I have no idea what is causing this. Maybe someone who really knows these confusers like 51 merc-ct, with those blinking headlights, can figure this out

Find yourself a 10 year old and ask him/her how it works :-)

My experience is the opposite. Volume buttons down on IPhone. Something in the phone tags the bottom of the photo. You can flip and save and still have it post upside down.

Come and live here at the "ass end of the world" and you won't need to worry about flipping them!

Thanks for the replies, I will play with phone and try the volume buttons down. I am not making new flatheads, I bought out a long time collection and will be posting parts and engines.

Go to your Apple store and ask. I use a camera and never have a problem.
Maybe you should down load to pictures on the computer. Than rotate them. Than up load.
