Got the 37 home
Well now I need to get the lights working. How does the rear tail light lens and chrome ring come off. Need to check the bulbs and socket. Jon in Il.

Re: Got the 37 home
There should be a little slotted head screw on lower part of light housing. If you loosen that screw the outer ring and lens can be removed allowing access to light bulb.

Thanks, guess I didn't look close enough. Also how do the headlight bulb come out. Do they just twist out? It looks like a flange with three holes. I'm sure I wiil have lots of questions down the road. Jon

Re: Got the 37 home
Yes, you twist the bulb towards the enlarged hole openings on the base flange and pull them straight out. Sometimes they can be locked pretty tight on the three spring loaded pins. I usually push the spring pins in some from the rear of the socket to reduce holding force. If you don't do this you risk breaking the glass bulb loose from its flanged base. It you have bulb removal pliers, they may be your friend for removing these bulbs without breaking things. Your next order of business may be finding brighter replacement bulbs. I use halogen bulbs in my '35 driver. They are a big help to see and to be seen while while driving at night.

I sort of thought thats the way they worked. How did you get to the backside to work the pins loose? Who is a good supplier for halogen bulbs? Jon
