According to photos in The V-8 Affair it looks like it stops at the flare over the running board. And obviously at the rear, it stops at the trunk opening. (That's based on the available photos which are all coupes).

OK Dale
I know it ran from the Running boards up and over the fender but I didnt know if it stopped at the Trunk or not?

I was thinking about running it all the way down past and thru into the Bumper cut out because I wasnt sure.

At this point I guess I will run it from running board too trunk edge unless anyone else disagree's?

The pictures definetley show no welt running vertically down the trunk opening edge. Unfortunately, there is no clear view of the joint between fender and the panel under the trunk. There is a joint there which I would assume (dangerous word) would have welt in it.

Yea Its that area exactly that Im not sure of either and Im looking at the car and the fender! lol I cant remember if it ran through there when I took the car apart or not.

I also think it would look funny there too running along side the edge of the trunk and the fender.

Oh well! Mine runs along the trunk lid and under the bumper bracket rubber. I don't know if it's correct, but it does look neat. Restored about 30 years ago. Good luck and I think it would look good either way.-Bill
