Radiator is shot
I have a 1930 Tudor Sedan. My radiator developed a small leak that turned into several leaks. I took it to a radiator shop last week. He called yesterday and said it could not be fixed. Any suggestions on some sort of stopleak? Looks like radiators are going for over $500.

Re: Radiator is shot
buy a new radiator /// even if you somehow sealed it up most likely its partially clogged which can cause your engine to run hotter than normal
i have had good luck with Bergs.... i believe it is closer to 700 shipped //you get what you pay for goodluck http://www.bergsradiator.com |

Re: Radiator is shot
I agree with Mitch, that once you have several leaks you'll never be happy until it has a new radiator. I bought a Berg's core for my 28-9 A's just to have as a spare. It looks just like my original round tube. I don't know if you can buy just the core for your 1930, but I would buy the core or complete radiator from Berg's also.

Re: Radiator is shot
I purchased one from Snyders for my 31 RPU. It was a heavy duty one. I am very happy with it. The packaging was awesome and they stand by their products.

Re: Radiator is shot
Last week I replaced the radiator in my '31 roadster with one from Brassworks. Lee and his crew do a great job. I am thoroughly pleased and recommend them. The installation went very well because everything lined up. Saturday we had a Sierra Chapter breakfast and tour up into the Sierra foothills and the roadster performed perfectly. I am a Breastworks fan! Russ

Re: Radiator is shot
Berg's had several on display at Hershey. Truly works of art.

Re: Radiator is shot
I saw Bergs booth at Hershey and their radiators are very nice. However if you have a 30-31 and you want the original dimpled fin, Bergs doesn't do that and but Brassworks does.
