Default f1 truck pedal assembly?

i've got what i think is a F1 pedal assembly, do the standard car master cylinder fit these?

as my pedel assembly mounting holes are bigger than the master cylinder i have, i checked the 'Green Book' the 2467 is a standard mount part number and i can't seem to find the pedal number in there?

just need to know what pedal assembly it is that i have so i can order a master cylinder and make a mount to fit my car.

Thanks
Harley

01T-2467 shows as an F-2 and larger bracket, '48 - '52.
7RT-2453 doesn't show in the 48 - 56 truck parts book, could be pre-'48.

The F-2 MC is different than an F-1. The correct one for an F-2 would be B9J-2140-A. Whether or not these are common to cars, I can't say.

As Ross said that is for a '48-'52 F2 and larger. it will have the bolt pattern for the larger master cylinder. 7RT is a common prefix on '48-'52 truck parts.

The pedal assembly from a 1/2 ton f1 will use the same master cyl. as a car. the pedals from a one ton has a larger master with bigger bolt pattern

If you plan to use it in a hotrod. I have made a plate adapter to mount the dual resivor mustang master cylinder. 3/8 plate drilled for the 3 stock holes and then 2 drilled and taped for studs to hold the late model master cylinder. If you are using it on a F1 crossmember in a model A frame then you will to weld up and redrill the 3 bolt holes for the stock master cylinder.

so its for a bigger truck F2 ect. that's cool i knew in the back of my mind that there was something not right!

will the bigger master cylinder still be okay with 39-48 car brakes? i.e the master cylinder size

Keep the bore size the same if you change from the original master cylinder that was intended for the brake system.
I also remember that the pedal length from pickup to big truck is longer which can change the ratio. I think not 100% sure on that

If I remember right the f2/f3 pedals are the same as f1 just the bracket itself is different. It has the two upper holes spaced further away from the master cyl mounting holes. The spacing of the master cyl holes is the same.

Pedals are 1 tonner & up, Don't use the big master cyl, [ master to wheel cyl ratio will be way out of sync].
im sure you could adapt the 39-48 car master cyl somehow.

Harley, I have a 1-1/16" dual cylinder I could sell. I recently put one on Old Rusty. Works good.

Mart.

The one I have used alot to convert to a dual master cyl. Is for a late 60's mustang with drum brakes front and rear.
Napa had them in stock .
Have used them with both bendix style and the early ford 39/48
