V8 as Art
2 of my 3 daughters were down with the grandkids on 4rth July this year.
They went on a treasure hunt in the back yard looking for articles d'art à patine. They are both talented interior designers and stylish home makers. Just makes a father proud ;~')) POST pics of your V8 ART

Re: V8 as Art
I'm still trying to talk my wife into a bare 59 block under glass as a coffee table but so far, no luck.
Lonnie EDIT: Tonopah! Home of the Clown Motel! Almost like a Steven King novel when you pull in late at night and the lobby is covered with clown stuff then you wake up in the morning and find an old cemetery right next to the hotel. My step-son still brings that up years later. Good times!! Last edited by Binx; 07-31-2015 at 11:08 PM. |

Re: V8 as Art
My KR Wilson distributor timing fixture(an early style with the wooden box) sits on our entryway hall table as an objet d'art when I'm not using it for its intended purpose; my wife (who is a wonderful artist) seems to like it there

Re: V8 as Art
Flathead, my neighbor made up a little sign for me, for my garage:" 'n+1' -the exact formula for the number of motorcycles you need, where n is the number you currently have". Too true! If I had more space, I'd probably have more-of course, "Mission Control" (aka my wife) would have something to say about that!

Re: V8 as Art
Hi Everyone, These are two of my favorite examples as V8 as Art.
The first is a T-Shirt I picked up at Hershey a few years ago. Made by a FordBarn member. I just love this one. The second is on the side of a 1935 Ford Indy Racer I saw in The Henry Ford Museum last month. More on that car in several places on the internet, here's one of the first I found: http://www.rokemneedlearts.com/carsi...sblog/?p=13122
