Default Retainer clips for 46

My 46 coupe did not have the trunk holes in it for the cat whiskers so I drilled the holes and tried to install them. The clips are too short. Anyone out there know where I can get deeper (longer) ones. Also need them for the fender trim.
Thanks

Cat whiskers are usually used on the door to protect the glass. I got a 48 Ford and never heard of cat whiskers in the trunk. The trunk seal is a rubber seal. Is a 46 different or am I missing something?

I believe cat whiskers are the two stainless strips that go on the truck on each side of the handle. Only used on 46 & early 47, late 47& 48 used a spere above the license plate. Thanks
