That would be my guess as well. I know quite a few people using that carb now and all of them like it.

The Zenith carb that is pictured has been used in several different applications that I have found,. Zenith makes a version of it as a "Model A Replacement Carburetor". The basic design is also used on Gravely tractors. So far I have found no documentation that it was ever used on a forklift as some disparagingly claim. (Would like some pointers to that if anybody has some.)

That being said, the one pictured could be from any source and looks like it has been buried in a swamp for a long time.

and found the kit that fits the Model A Zenith #13922 (kit K2033) .
I then looked up what forklifts that kit fits and it fits Allis Chalmers, Clark, and Tow
Motor lifts of various models.

J.C. Whitney used to sell this type carburetor in the model A parts section of their catalog, I think as far back as the late seventies.

The basic form-factor of the Zenith carb that Henry used on the A is quite obviously a good one, based on the ensuing popularity of it in various other applications. The Zenith model 68 carb seems to be the current incarnation and is used in various applications. As the model 13922, it is listed by Zenith as a "Model A replacement" carb. Obviously, other applications have different model numbers.

Bottom line: a 13922 is a Zenith carb for the Model A.

A 13922 is no more "a forklift carb" than a Zenith-2 or a Tilly. If you want a forklift carb, you need to go find its model number.

Steve...I'll take it and give it a try on my car. I've fixed up worse looking carbs before and I always wanted to try one. But I'm too cheap to buy a new one. [email protected]

Ak around and locate a kid that is working on an A and give it to him.
