cold weather/warm flathead
The temp outside is in the single digits-the ford is tucked away in the garage(unheated and not insulated) 12 or so inches of snow on the ground, hit the electric fuel pump for a second-choke set and hit the starter-the 35 springs to life and runs like a top. You can't kill the flathead-seems to actually run stronger. Lets see some of these new cars do that after 75 years, not a chance.

Re: cold weather/warm flathead
Yeah, woke my 35 today too from a year long sleep. What's an electric fuel pump?

Re: cold weather/warm flathead
74 degrees here in So Cal. felt hotter, not to rub it in. No electric fuel pump here either. Has been getting in the low 30s at night. Not too bad yet. Don't miss the snow. Can look at my back yard for that, literally, Arrowhead, Big Bear, and Snow Summit is right behind my house. Nice to look at, but don't want too live in it.
