Cleaning out the shop - Flathead parts
City:
Dallas
State:
Tx
Price:
in Ad
I have lots of used parts I'm trying to unload Some of it good, some trash, but here it is:
All this stuff has surface rust. All of it will need machine work, boring, grinding etc. I have a pallet of crankshafts they will all need to be ground to be usable. None of these parts are something you could just slap onto a running motor. I would consider this stuff cores to start with. Ford flathead V8 stuff: I have several pallets of it. I have an entire pallet of heads alone, even several sets of V8-60 heads. They are used and as-is condition, although we can surface them and crack check them if needed. Ford V8 heads $40 / Pair. $25 Each as-is. (early or late) Ford V8-60 heads (no aluminum ones) $75 / pair. $40 Each as-is. Several ruined blocks for mockup - FREE Cam Cores - $10 several styles Custom Ground flathead cams - $90 Crankshafts - $30 As-is, can have them turned for $100 Oil pans - $25 Stock Intakes - $25 Also have some Flathead 4cyl stuff. A couple of heads, crankshafts, cams, and 2 blocks. I have more stuff, small parts, and odds and ends. PM me or call the shop at 972-235-7405 if your looking for something in particular. I cannot add pictures, because of some missing "security token" Some pictures are on my site here : Speed Barn - flathead parts Last edited by Revhead; 11-19-2011 at 01:47 PM. |

Re: Cleaning out the shop - Flathead parts
I am looking for a usable (not cracked and not too thin to be milled if necessary) set of 1938 24 stud heads. These are the heads with the part number 81A-6050 and 81A-6049 cast into the face of the head and no raised A. My preference is two 6050 heads, but I'd be happy with a set containing both part numbers, and I'd take either one as a single head.
