Default size of windshiel glass 1949 F3

we are working on a 49 F3, it has had the glass replaced sometime in the past, it did not have the correct rubber seal on it and we suspect the glass is not the correct size because the new seal fits on it very loose. could anyone with such a glass measure it and let us know. thanks

In the event that nobody has the information, try measuring the new seal to determine approximately what the glass should measure.

There is considerable variation on many of the rubber seal products. My money is on the glass being correct and the seal being over-sized. If you want the best in a replacement, buy from Steele Rubber.
