Clutch Pedal Adjustment
I'd like to know, once you have your clutch pedal adjusted all the way, so there's no more threads. Has anyone cut more threads on the adjustment shaft, so there
isn't anymore pedal free play ? We tried to cut more threads, but the shaft has a larger diameter, just past the threads. I guess, I could file the shaft diameter a little closer to the thread diameter, the try again. I have a new clutch disc installed, just to much pedal free play. |

Re: Clutch Pedal Adjustment
How much free-play do you have ?? Did you install a new pressure plate ?? I'm wondering if it needs to come out and be adjusted.. Or you could adjust it while installed, but, I think for a problem like yours it would be easier and better in the end to remove it and adjust on the bench.. What was the free-play like before the change ??
