Re: More fun with Tex Willis
Tex is always entertaining. I guess this shows that we should be using our Model A's no matter what the weather.

That's fun! If he lived in the District of Columbia they would call child protective services on TW..............

Re: More fun with Tex Willis
Here we would have had a half dozen kids lined up waiting their turn. There would always be one kid standing there with a beer in his hand while his dad took a turn.

Re: More fun with Tex Willis
Great video of good fun. This would be a felony in Connecticut - one of the reasons I now live in GA!

Re: More fun with Tex Willis
This is what keeps kids outside rather than watching TV and playing video games. When I was young I had my fun hitching many winter sled rides by holding onto city bus bumpers. No one ever got hurt and we were in excellent physical condition as a result of running away from the bus driver when he stopped to try to catch us. The kid in the video will remember that ride as a ride of his lifetime. Good for Tex and the kid, another bonding lifetime memory

Re: More fun with Tex Willis
We used to do that a lot when we were kids. We liked to use the big old hoods from the 50's Chevys and such. Hook it to the bumper with a long chain and drag a bunch of us through the ditches along the county roads. We did accidentally take out a few signs here and there on occasion. My brother was pulling us in the pasture with the 48 Allis Chalmer C and hit a wash out a bit too fast and broke the tractor in half. Dad took it pretty well.

Re: More fun with Tex Willis
When streets are flooded here some people stand on a surf board behind cars.
Now do this sledding at home and post your own videos before the snow melts.

Making great memories for those kids. It's what life is all about. Nothing stupid about it.
