Re: 1929 ford title
Are you asking us how to title your car for the state you live, or how to obtain an old title and illegally title your car?

Re: 1929 ford title
You need to tell us where you live and want to register this car. The rules vary from state to state, and province!

Re: 1929 ford title
Quote:
Once a car has a title, owners have done all kinds of things to the car and have kept the title. Also in Florida certain changes "void" the title and the owner has to change the title to reflect that. Did not Fordbarn have a thread about states going to car shows to check on registrations on modified cars?

Re: 1929 ford title
Click on the website don turley has hi-lighted and it will help you. Contact your local DMV office. Do you have a bill of sale for the vehicle or is it cobbled together? In CT a title is issued AFTER car is registered, in the case of my '31 none is issued because of the age of the vehicle. It differs by state. Again, ck the website hi-lighted in don turley's post to you. Hope this helps.

Re: 1929 ford title
If it is a Ford frame and body there should be no problem. One easy way to get a title is to do a Lien Sale.

Re: 1929 ford title
I Like that quote you put on there Mike V,I must say I agree completely with it.I can see how in a sense it not fair for those folks that do have the real deal matching car title/Vin to the T.I think what's important really is that there is value to having something original, but hey the next best thing is also ok.Henry always looked at the big picture.I have found what I was looking for (title) threw intellect and resources.
