y blocker's

here are the facts.

it has five old pistons and three new replacement pistons.

on one old piston the top of the piston crumbled away between

the top ring landing and the piston top.

plus the ring was broken.

on another old piston the ring broke.

then the one half 'climbed' over the other half and

dug a notch in the ring landing.

it was a top ring.

will post pic's tomorrow.

have a nice day!

y blocker's

pic #1 is the piston with the chunk out of it.

#2 is the one where the broken ring dug into piston.

#3 is one of the new replacement piston's that were

in it already when i bought it.

#4 is pic of piston pin retainer clips.

i want to use press in piston pins and get rid

of clips on new set of pistons.

have a good one!
