There's a few owners of these on FTE. Too bad the woody interior isn't correct. Nice, but incorrect nonetheless. I'm sure Truckdog will be along to elaborate.

It is a very, very cool vehicle! I love the original wheels and hubcaps with the correct tires, but the chris craft interior thing doesn't float my boat. It has no more to do with an MH Ranger than 4 racing slicks on cragar mags would....

That's Classy. This is how a SUV should look.

I wonder why Ford never did a Suburban fighter in those days? I guess they didn't think there was enough of a market.

It's come a long way from its lime green and Jeep axled past. As I'm told, at astounding expense. It is one of three known surviving '51s. The others are a hippy painted Silvertone Gray complete truck that is for sale, and my sad black one. The Sheridan Blue truck was also listed for sale on ebay a few months ago failing to meet reserve at about $50 large. The high bidder told me he would continue to negotiate in hopes of buying it. As much as was invested, it surprises me that so many non-original liberties were taken, but hey, it's restored and mine is not. Stu
