Default 1936 Ford Coupe door Lock

What connects the key lock to the Latch. Looks like I am missing something?? Thanks !

The photo below is not a 35-36 but is a 33. You can see the small square hole for the square shaft out of the door key cylinder when the shaft rotates the receiver the receiver sends a lock bolt up to the mechanism. This causes the mechanism to lock the out side door handle from rotating. The same is true of the 36 door latch mechanism.

for your car, contact Phil Migliori in NY. Send a private message to him. His
handle is 32Phil. Also, bear in mind that different body styles take different
length passenger door lock shafts. If you have the 35/36 resto guide, there is
a list of the different requirements in there.
