Hello. I’m new with the group. I’ve was looking for a gage for my Ford. Someone responded saying he had one. When I tried to send a reply I got a message that I only had 7 messages and that I need 9 in order to respond?
Not sure why but I’m stuck. Thanks. Jack

Ryan has it setup because of scammers that you need to have 10 posts or replies before you can reply to messages in the classifieds. This does not affect starting post or replying to posts in the general forums, just the classifieds. Looks like you have one more to go.

Will this reply count as a post if I subsequently delete it? Deleting it will allow me to test 2 tasks; 1st, if "quick reply" post can be deleted; 2nd, if deleted posts count toward initial 10 posts.

REVISION: Google search suggests that "delete" may or may not be an option for "quick reply" after clicking "edit". It does not appear to be an option in this case.
