I've got a 56 Lincoln Premier 2 dr. hardtop (really nice condition) that has a nice 351 engine in it. I'm thinking of selling it on here or Ebay. It seems on here the for sale section is large with mostly parts. Should I go Ebay? I just want the true Lincoln people to have a good fair shot at it.
Thanks |

The listings here are free so no loss if you post it in the Swap Meet section.

I've always felt that ebay reached more potential buyers, I'd post it on both and reserve the right to cancel the auction. Those are super nice cars! Good luck, Mark

Does the 351 engine hurt a lot or just a little? What I mean is because it's not the original engine even though it's a really nice 351.

I would guess that the incorrect engine will hurt the value by 15/20%.In a Ford it wouldn't matter so much, but I think a Lincoln is a lot more valuable with the original engine.

I agree, but it might be higher. The '56 Lincoln engine was Kool, like the car.
