I might have a nos truck one in my garage. Check this weekend for ya. If you dont hear from me then remind me. I would sell it to you for what I bought it for. (I have a 1940 truck and thought they might be the same)

I have one on Greedy bay 200742366126 and another as shown. The one in the picture is P/N 91C 14401 C which is correct for commercial. The one on greedy is a 91C 14401B and says it's for the cowl on a 2 brush generator in a '39 closed cab or panel. Both are NOS, dirty but complete. If interested, just let me know.

I'd buy a repro before buying a crusty NOS piece....do you smell smoke?
The harness looks to be available at most of the Vintage Ford suppliers. C&G Early Ford shows: 91C-14401A 39Pickupw/3 brush generator, with amp gauge $150.82 ea 91C-14401B 39Pickupw/2 brush generator & volt gauge $113.84 ea 91C-14401C 39Pickupw/2 brush generator & amp gauge $169.90 ea |

Hi Mike,
I'd go with the reproduction harness as well. I originally used an NOS harness and ended up five years later replacing it with a repro. It's much easier to do when the truck is all apart. I did; however, successfully use an NOS harness on the tail lights but that location is much easier to repair or replace if you have a problem. Did you solve your steering problem? I'll see you at Fitchburg. Toby |
