Hi I am located in New Zealand and would like to get assistance with oil resivoir filter dimemsions.
Height, ID and OD of filter. Shipping from US to NZ expensive.
Hoping to pick up a filter locally which can fit this position. Presently nil filter is fitted! Dont want to continue running without one.
Thanks for any assistance.

I understand that ... $$$ ...

Is it easier for your AUSTRALIAN cousins to source parts?

Australia was more into these vehicles ie Customlines, and their ute variations.
Plenty more supply of varoius bits across the ditch.
Rubber Connection in Australia caries a good amount of parts. Just got a top radiator hose and ignition switch for 55 Customline from them at a good price plus better shipping rates.
Now looking for a rebuild kit for the double action fuel pump. Has the glass bowl at the bottom.

Thumbs up Re: 1955 Ford Customline Power Steering Filter

The 'DITCH', I like that.

I forgot about their UTE.

Have you been following the thread on pump kits? There has to be a source I would think across the 'ditch' ...

One thing to watch out for and that is filter size. The early 50's cars used a bigger filter than later cars (No idea of the cutoff). Using the later, smaller filter in a car that used the larger filter may cause leaks . I know of a few friends with early Birds had this problem.
