Bumper bracket identification 1946 ?
I have these bumper brackets the ones stacked on top of each other I was told the lower one is 46? The top one is identical except it has a drop down in it they were in my 40 when I got it but they are not 1940.I think I remember hearing that the 47-and 48 cars had the bumpers lowered. And the other pic is supposed to be the front for a 46 but I am unsure. Just trying to find them a new home but not sure what they are. I have both sides of all of them. Thanks

In the green parts book there is a section on bumpers that has
pictures of all the bumpers and brackets. |

Look like the ones on my '47. The rear irons are for the bumpers with inner holes farther apart; not sure the original rear range of that style.
